Para mim, é isto mesmo: a beleza do dia-a-dia, das rotinas, dos pequenos-almoços, das discussões, das frustrações. Dos sorrisos ao acordar e das birras ao deitar, dos esforços, das dietas, dos chocolates, de dar a mão na rua, do colo. De sermos nós, perfeitos na imperfeição.

Patrícia Arquette stopped by the Jon Stewart show the night after she won a Bafta for her performance in the movie Boyhood and she said that, unlike other Hollywood movies that show the life of heroes or extraordinary events, this movie is about the celebration of normal life. This is exactly how I feel. What matters is the beauty of everyday life, of the routines, of breakfast before going to work, the fights and the frustrations. It's all about the smiles in the morning and the tantrums before going to bed; it's about our efforts, about dieting and eating chocolate. It's holding hands in the streets. The beauty is in normal life and in us: perfect in our imperfection.
